Kodak camera offers touchscreen photo editing

Kodak has added a range of new cameras to its EasyShare line at CES, including one that allows users to make simple edits to images on the camera's touchscreen.

The Kodak EasyShare V1273 is a 12-megapixel, 3x optical zoom camera with a 3in LCD touchscreen offering users the ability to crop photos without the use of a photo-editing app on a PC. As well as image editing, the touchscreen provides access to many of the camera's features and functions. The touschscreen is also available on the new V1073 10-megapixel camera, although this model doesn't offer the image-editing functionality.

All models are scheduled to become available worldwide in the first half of the year. UK pricing has yet to be determined.
