AGFA AF5080M, AF5080W and AF5070BT

AGFA has launched the AF5080M, a multimedia digital photo frame with an 8in high-quality LCD display. The resolution on offer from the new frames is higher than previous models, at 800x600 pixels per inch. It also features a digital photo slideshow, music reader to play MP3 tracks and video player which supports Mpeg format.

Getting your pictures straight from your memory card is easy with the 5-in-1 card reader, which accepts SD, MMC, MS, CF and XD formats. Two USB ports are also featured for connecting it up to external devices. In addition to the clock and calendar that feature in previous existing frames such as the AF5070, there is also an alarm radio and auto power on-off function. For easy operation wherever you are in the room AGFA have also included a remote control. It is also possible to change between three different covers, glossy black, aluminium and wood effect.

The AF5080M will be available from late September priced at £119.99 inc VAT.

Also coming soon is the AF5080W, a digital frame with the same multimedia features as the AF5080M but with the addition of Wi-Fi support. With an 8in 800x600 LCD screen, the AF5080W also features an interchangeable frame so you can choose between black and white. It comes with 64MB internal memory in addition to a 5-in-1 memory card reader. One fewer USB port is included than the AF5080M but it still enables you to play music and videos and display your digital photos as a slideshow if they are in Jpeg format and comes with a handy remote control.

The product is presently in development and has be demonstrated as a working sample. The AF5080W is expected to be launched at the end of October priced at £139.99 inc VAT.
