Samsung L370 and L830

Samsung has expanded its L series of compact cameras, with the addition of the 7Mp Samsung L730 and the 8Mp Samsung L830.

Both Samsung cameras include Intelligent Face Recognition Technology and advanced image processing.

The new Samsung cameras also feature 3x optical zoom, a 2.5in LCD display and advanced video and editing capabilities. Movie can be captured in four different resolutions, with or without audio, and Samsung claims the cameras are also capable of shutter speeds of up to 1/1,500 seconds.

Low light conditions should not be a problem for Samsung's latest L series cameras - at least according to the manufacturer - because they enjoy an ISO rating which is equivalent to 1600. Both models come with an internal memory of 16MB and they also accepts Secure Digital flash memory cards with capacities of up to 4GB.

Additional features include a variety of scene modes and Samsung's Digimax Master software which allows all abilities of image editor to enhance and manage their photographs.

Both models will be available from the end of August with the L730 priced at £119 and L830 at £149.
