Gigabyte may be primarily known for its components, but it seems to be eyeing up the designer end of the PC peripherals market. It's just launched a crystal-clad wireless mouse.
The Gigabyte GM-M78000S doesn't have the most enthralling moniker, but we're very taken with this rodent's combination of leather and bling. Swarovski crystals are embedded in the top side of the mouse and stitched into its deep brown leather and 18 carat gold finish.
The mouse offers either 800dpi or 1.600dpi scrolling precision and operates over the 2.4GHz wireless spectrum. A minute wireless transmitter fits intoa a USB port on the host PC or laptop. Onscreen actions can be controlled from a distance of up to 10 metres.
Pricing for the Gigabyte GM-M7800S Swarovski mouse have not been revealed.
Until now, Gigabyte was known by most consumers for its motherboards and graphics cards.
