Dane-Elec has launched a range of USB memory keys that reflect the sort of activity kids might find themselves doing now that school’s out. There are two surfboard flash memory sticks – one intended to appeal to surfer dudes and one for surfer chicks. The Brigg is a blue and red-striped surfboard while The Roxy has four different colours of stripe and carries the tagline ‘easy does it’.

The boy's surfboard is based on a Quiksilver surfboard while the The Roxy gets its name from the swimwear brand of the same name. A third design, The Royale, is designed to look like a skateboard and is based on a design in the Tony Hawk range.

Each of the USB sticks has a 4GB memory and costs £10.99. As well as being good value for such a generous amount of USB memory, the keys have the advantage of being very easy to distinguish in a drawer with others, and much more interesting to look at.

Dane-Elec makes a range of PC peripherals including MP3 players and removable memory cards. It will sell the USB memory keys through online retailers including Amazon UK.
