BenQ has unveiled two new monitors in its G-series of LED HD widescreen displays - the 21.5in G2222HDL and the 24inch G2420HDBL.
The back-lit displays both feature a contrast ration of 5,000,000:1 along with 100 percent mercury-free panels, which means water is not polluted during manufacture unlike monitors with CCFL displays.
BenQ also says both the G2222HDL and the G2420HDBL, which have a glossy black frame, reduce power consumption by 36 percent compared to traditional displays, and both come with six preset viewing modes - Standard, Movie, Game, Photo, sRGB, and Eco mode.
The BenQ G2222HDL is priced at £149, while the BenQ G2420HDBL costs £169.00. Both displays are available now.
