Logitech announces new G-range of PC gaming accessories

Logitech G-range brings durable mice, keyboards and headsets to gamers

Logitech has announced a refresh of its G line-up of gaming gear including mice, keyboards and headsets.

The latest G-range of gaming specific accessories from Logitech includes four redesigned mice, two keyboards and two new headsets. The range starts at £35 and will go on sale in Europe at the beginning of May. See all Computer Mice and Keyboard reviews.

Ehtisham Rabbani, general manager of gaming at Logitech, said: "With Logitech G we will continue to push the limits of speed, precision, reliability – even intuitiveness. We do it because gamers expect us to push the limits as far as they do. Every inspired design choice and late-night engineering argument serves but one purpose, to help gamers play their best. When science wins – gamers win."

The mice range consists of the G100s, G400s, G500s and G700s. They range from £34.99 up to £89.99 – the higher the model number, the better the mouse. The new keyboards are the G510s and G19s which will set you back £99.99 and £179.99 respectively.

Logitech's first new headset is the G230, a stereo headset which will cost £54.99. For £69.99, you can upgrade to the G430 which gives you surround sound.

The firm said it has studied the way gamers use accessories with infrared technology. As a result, the updated G-range has improved durability and comfort with 'strategic tactile zones'. This includes fingerprint-resistant coatings on heavy contact areas and a hydrophobic coating on palm areas to stop hands from sticking.

The G keyboards have a double UV coating for longer life while the mice have low-friction polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) feet.
