Google Nexus 7 tablet dock and case leaked

Google Nexus 7 accessories will be released next month

Google's Nexus 7 tablet accessories, a docking station and cases, have been leaked online.

Website Nordic Hardware got hold of the images of the Nexus Dock, Asus Travel Cover and Asus Premium Cover.  We knew a docking station would be on the way since the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet has metal contacts.

The Nexus 7 Dock will retail for $49 according to the slide and will be released on 24 August. It will feature a Micro-USB port and a 3.5 audio jack, no HDMI unfortunately. The tablet will sit in the dock in landscape mode leaning backwards for better viewing.

The leaked Asus Travel Cover resembles the Nexus 7 Cover advertised on the Google Play Store which is not yet available. However, the slide shows it in a range of colours instead of the one option of dark grey presented on the Play Store.

Lastly is the Asus Premium Cover which will sell for $39 and hit the shops on 31 August. It's made of a combination of fibreglass and leather and will come in four colour options.
