Microsoft has taken the wraps off its first accessories designed for Windows 8 including a Wedge keyboard and mouse.
First mouse and keyboard designed for Windows 8 appear
The Wedge Mobile Keyboard and Wedge Touch Mouse have been design with Windows 8 in mind and will be compatible with PCs, laptops and tablet. Both use Bluetooth technology for a wire-free experience.

"New mice and keyboards are on the way, and are specifically designed for mobile and for Windows 8" said Microsoft.
The Wedge Mobile Keyboard comes with a durable cover to protect the keyboard which also doubles as a tablet stand. It will retail for $79 and will be available 'over the coming weeks and months'.
The Wedge Touch Mouse is small enough to fit in your pocket and provides four-way touch scrolling and navigation. It features BlueTrack Technology so you can use it on 'virtually' any surface and it will be priced at $69.

Slightly cheaper options will be the Sculpt Mobile Keyboard and Sculpt Touch Mouse. These will sell for $49 each.
For users of Microsoft's existing Touch Mouse, the firm will release an update for Windows 8 gestures when the operating system and Surface RT tablet launches on 26 October.
