Philips 221TE2L flatpanel comes with TV tuner

Full HD display that works as a PC screen and a TV

Philips has launched a new PC monitor that has its own TV tuner. The 21.5in full HD display has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and has both HDMI and VGA ports for connection to a PC, tablet or laptop.  Philips technologies used on the flatpanel ensure images are displayed at the best settings for optimal viewing and enhance the audio quality.  The screen distinguishes itself by its inclusion of a DVB-T TV tuner allowing work-weary PC users to tune in to live digital TV broadcasts and catch up on the latest Murray tennis marathon or cricket overs.

The Philips 221TE2L costs £209 inc VAT and is onsale now, while a 19in model that also has an integrated digital TV tuner will go onsale in June.
