iGo Charge Anywhere gadget charger

iGo has unveiled the Charge Anywhere - a device charger that stores up energy and can be used to power up a dead gadget when mains power is not available. The iGo Charge Anywhere can be plugged into the wall and while its internal battery is being charged, the two USB ports can simulataneously be used to charge electronic devices.

Alternatively, once the device's internal battery has been charged, the iGo Charge Anywhere can be used to power electrical devices on-the-go. Select the relevant power tip, for example the tips suitable for the Apple iPhone or a BlackBerry handset, and connect it to the iGo Cahrge Anywhere, while connecting the other end to your device.

iGo says the Charge Anywhere's internal battery offers enough power to provide three full charges to most mobile devices.

"This is a truly ubiquitous charging solution as it provides the benefits of using one simple product for all charging needs, in any location, with or without a power socket," said Rob Falconer, managing director, iGo.

"This product is a terrific power solution for use on airplanes, where access to outlets is uncommon, but the use of MP3 players, gaming devices, smartphones and other electronic devices is very common

The iGo Charge Anywhere is priced at £49.99 and available from iGo's website.
