Canon CanoScan 9000F

Canon's latest scanner, the CanoScan 9000F, is aimed at creative agencies and art desks where incredibly detailed drafts and designs needed to be replicated with precision.

Photos and film can be reproduced at up to 9600x9600dpi thanks to the enhanced CCD sensor on the device. Bundled copies of Adobe Photoshop Elements and ArcSoft PhotoStudio software allows for on the fly image editing.

As with many combined scanner-printer-copiers, the CanoScan is able to send scanned in items directly to a folder for archiving or to an email recipient and to automatically create a PDF of the page. With no warm-up needed and bundled optical character recognition software, the Canon earns its keep as a document archival system as well as a design scanner.

The CanoScan 9000F costs £229 inc VAT.
