Ring Automotive 12v to 240v USB in-car charger

Ring Automotive has unveiled the MP:120 compact inverter - an in-car charger that allows you to use your car's cigarette lighter to charge your laptop.

Simply plug the inverter into your 12v socket and then you can power any 240V AC appliance.

The MP:120 also features a USB port to charge mobile phones, MP3 players and other devices.

Ring Automotive says the coiled cable of the MP:120 allows the inverter to be "positioned in a variety of places that are convenient, safe and discreet".

"The MP:120 takes inverter technology to another level. Combining a sleek compact design, flexibility of positioning and a powerful output makes the MP:120 an ideal match for the top-range gadgets being charged," says Ring Automotive's commercial manager Simon Harvey

The MP:120 is available now from Ring Automotive and priced at £34.99.
