NEC Multisync E222W widescreen LCD display

NEC Multisync E222W widescreen LCD displayNEC has unveiled the MultiSync E222W - a 22in LCD widescreen display with a native resolution of 1,680x,1,050 priced at £199.

The E222W's height can be adjusted so it sits on its base or is raised by as much as 110mm above it. NEC has also given it a pivot function that allows the screen to turn the screen from -45 to +45 degrees and from -5 to +15 degrees.

The display has a pixel pitch of 0.282 and comes with DVI-D (with HDCP - high-definition content protection) and mini D-sub 15-pin connections. A hand grip at the back makes it easier to move from desk to desk.

When not in use the E222W goes into automatic standby or powers-off function. Its eco-credentials are also boosted by an NEC Carbon Footprint Meter that works out how much you've saved in CO2 carbon emissions by using the display in Eco mode rather than standard mode.

Priced at £199 ex VAT, the NEC MultiSync E222W will be available direct from NEC from June.
