Oppo N3 specs

As expected, the Oppo N3 is a camera-centric super-selfie smartphone with a 16Mp sensor that rotates 206 degrees using Schneider-Electric mechanics. This camera has an f/2.2 aperture and dual-LED flash, and supports 4K video recording at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps, and 720p slo-mo at 120fps. It supports face recognition and an auto panorama mode, and you can apply photo effects and captions, and stitch together videos. Tracking Focus lets you lock the focus and let the N3 handle the rest.

A supplied O-Click Bluetooth remote control lets you control the camera's rotation and take photos, as well as play music. Onscreen gestures can also be used to control the camera's rotation. So, no more outstreched arms or awkwardly posed selfies.

There's also a fingerprint sensor on the rear. This is used not only for security purposes, but also to access specific features and apps depending on which finger you scan. You can also set up guest modes.

Its core spec is similar to that of the HTC One M8, running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip, clocked at 2.3GHz, along with Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB of RAM. It also has a robust metal frame - here an industrial grade aluminium alloy. Key differences are the larger 5.5in full-HD (1920x1080) TFT screen of the N3, which offers a pixel density of 403ppi, and ColorOS operating system, which is a modified version of Android KitKat.

The Oppo N3 has 32GB of storage built in, and a microSD card lets you add up to 128GB. Plus you can make use of third-party cloud-storage services.

Connectivity wise you get 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, the latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, USB OTG, GPS and NFC. The Oppo N3 supports both Micro SIM and Nano SIM.

The Oppo N3 is available only in white. It measures 161.2x77x8.7mm and weighs 192g. A double-sided notification light means you'll never miss a call or text.

As well as the O-Click 2.0 remote control, a pair of in-ear headphones and a rapid charger for the phone's 3000mAh lithium-polymer battery are supplied in the box. You can charge the phone 75 percent in 30 minutes, or get enough for a two-hour phone call from a five-minute charge.
