Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 735 release date UK

Microsoft said the Nokia Lumia 735 and Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM will both ship globally this month. However, the firm has now said that the Lumia 735 will launch in the UK on 2 October. Also see: Windows 9 and Windows Phone 9 release date, price and features UK

Before taxes and subsidies the Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM will cost 199 Euro (around £158); the Nokia Lumia 735 will cost 219 Euro (around £175). Microsoft has confirmed the Lumia 735 will cost £19.99 on contract from major retailers. Also see: Nokia Lumia 830 release date, price and specs UK.

Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 735 specs

Running Windows Phone 8.1 with the Lumia Denim update, which features a faster camera, better notifications and improved Cortana accessibility, the Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Nokia Lumia 735 measure 134.7x68.5x8.7mm and weigh 133g.

The Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 735 are primed for selfies with a 5Mp wide-angle front-facing camera. There's also a 6.7Mp rear camera with Zeiss optics and a f19 aperture on the back that Nokia claims will take great photos in low light.

While the Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM operates on the 3G network, the Nokia Lumia 735 supports 4G LTE.

Both have a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage (plus microSD support up to 128GB) and a 4.7in 720p, 316ppi OLED display.

The phones will be available in green, orange, white and dark grey, and are fitted with a removable 2220mAh battery.

A free three-month Skype premium package will be supplied with the 730 and 735.
