With the Galaxy S6 Edge+ Samsung said it was fed up with making compromises - big screens are the new norm, so it's made a phone that has a larger screen than the 5.5in iPhone 6 Plus, yet the handset itself is smaller.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has a gorgeous 5.7in Quad HD (2560x1440, 518ppi) SuperAMOLED display. And, of course, curved edges at either side.

Despite the large screen, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is just 154.4x75.8x6.9mm and 153g.

The S6 Edge+ is something of a powerhouse, with a whopping 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Samsung's own Exynos 7420 octa-core processor.

There are two storage options, with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ available with 32- or 64GB of storage.

The rear camera is exceptional, according to the company. It's a 16Mp f1.9 model with optical image stabilisation. At the front is a 5Mp selfie camera.
