The Touch Diamond2 is a 118g smartphone with a 3.2in touch-sensitive widescreen display. The handset runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional software on a 5238MHz Qualcomm processor and has 512MB ROM. Its 288MB of onboard storage can be supplemented using a microSD memory card.

The all-black quad-band touchscreen handset uses HSPA/WCDMA and supports GSM/GPRS and Edge connectivity. A built-in GPS antenna enables the handset to be used for satellite navigation. There's a location-aware 5Mp camera with autofocus as well as a secondary VGA camera.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are offered and the HTC Touch Diamond2 uses the TouchFLO 3D interface to allow the user to scroll through menu items and media libraries. Music files saved as AAC (iTunes), WAV, WAV and MP3 can all be played on the handset.
