The much-anticipated samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to build on the huge success of the Galaxy S3, improving the specification with a faster quad-core processor, higher-resolution OLED display and a more powerful camera. Rumoured specifications for the yet to be unveiled Galaxy S4 include a 4.99in Full HD screen, Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13Mp camera, 2Mp front facing camera, wireless charging and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. An early 2013 launch for the Samsung Galaxy S4 is in line with previous models: the first Galaxy S was launched in 2010, the S2 (SII) at MWC in February 2011, and the Galaxy S3 (SIII) last summmer here in London. The news of the March launch comes as the Mobile World Congress tradeshow starts today in Barcelona, and will be viewed by some as a way of Samsung keeping the limelight as the show opens, after the announcement of its Galaxy Note 8 tablet. "We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)... as we were bombarded with requests from US mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country," Samsung Electronics' mobile division chief JK Shin was quoted as saying on the Edaily news website.
