"This partnership will also improve customer experiences by providing them with more choices in the market."
The ZTE Geek features a 5in screen with a 720p resolution and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Other specifications include 8GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, an 8Mp rear camera, 1Mp front facing camera and a 2300mAh battery. See also: ZTE Grand X review.
ZTE said that tests show the Clover Trail+ processor is twice as fast as Intel's previous chip. Furthermore, it is three times as fast in terms of graphics. We look forward to benchmarking the Geek when we get our hands on it.
ZTE has already launched devices with Intel processors such as the V98 tablet and the Grand X IN smartphone.
The firm has also announced that it plans to ship twice as many smartphones this year than it did during 2012. ZTE is the number four mobile handset manufacturer, according to IDC.
