Samsung announces Galaxy S3 LTE in Titanium Grey

Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE Titanium Grey

Samsung has announced its Galaxy S3 smartphone will come in a new LTE version in Titanium Grey in partnership with EE's 4G mobile network launch.

The smartphone maker has extended the Galaxy S3 range with the LTE, 4G capable, model and additional colours of the original 3G version. Samsung said its Galaxy S III LTE Titanium Grey will be available from EE as one of the first 4G smartphones in the UK. See also: EE 4G in the UK: what you need to know.

Simon Stanford, vice president of Telecommunications & Networks at Samsung: " In keeping with the design concept of the Galaxy S III, this expanded colour range will give customers looking to buy our best smartphone yet, even more choice when it comes to purchase."

Samsung Galaxy S3 Sapphire Black

On top of the existing marble white and pebble blue colours, customers will be able to choose between 'Garnet Red', 'Amber Brown' and 'Saphire Black'. The latter confirms speculation that Samsung would release a black Galaxy S3 after it posted pictures on its Facebook page.

Samsung said the alternative Galaxy S3 colours will be available in the UK 'later this year'. Samsung's flagship device will be under threat from Apple's iPhone 5 which will be announced tomorrow.
