The HTC Sensation is a 4.3in screen 8Mp Android cameraphone running off a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It also has a 1.2Mp front-facing camera for use with video calls. There’s 1GB of onboard RAM and an 8GB microSD card for additional storage included in the box. The handset sports both Wi-Fi and 3G and is offered on a £35-a-month two-year Vodafone contract with 600 minutes of calls, 750MB of data and unlimited text messaging.
Those with an eye on a cheaper monthly subscription can pick up the HTC Sensation for £199 and a £25 monthly fee with a reduced 500MB data allowance and 100 minutes of calls. A £30 monthly contract ups the calltime to 500 minutes while the handset costs £99.
The HTC Sensation is the most powerful handset in the smartphone specialist's line-up of Android devices. It goes head to head with the Motorola Atrix, onsale from today and being touted by its maker as "the world's most powerful smartphone".
