LG 3G Watch Phone

One of the most exciting items on show at this year's Consumer Electronics Show was undoubtedly the LG 3G Watch Phone. Better yet, it's coming to Europe before anywhere else.

First unveiled in concept form a year ago, it's now ready for production and will boast both Bluetooth and 3G connectivity. It can be used as standard watch, but when a call comes in, the screen displays the caller's details.

LG Watch PhoneLift your wrist to your mouth and you can conduct a conversation, with no need to press any buttons first. A camera plus a video playback feature mean LG 3G Watch Phone owners will be able to pretend they're every bit as cool as Dick Tracy, though its 1.4in screen will ensure you may do little more than watch your team's winning kick, rather than the complete highlights.

Pricing and launch details have yet to be announced.
