Nokia restocks Video Center

Nokia is adding to the line-up of movie entertainment options on its mobile phone handsets. It has just announced new partnerships with media conglomerates such as CNN and Sony Pictures.

Nokia handset owners can already view YouTube clips and watch Reuters news stories on their N95 and N95 8GB handsets. With the tie in with new media partnerships, owners of the popular N95 handset will also be able to tune in to CNN international news coverage as well as getting sports and entertainment updates. Younger handset owners may find themselves more attracted to Jamba – a video service focusing on music, cartoons and fun.

Light relief will be provided by RooftopComedy, while Sony Pictures will offer film trailers, TV and games content. ROK, meanwhile, will offer FreeBeTV, which includes celebrity TV, classic commercials and Fun Little Movies.

Video content in the Nokia Video Center can be accessed over 3G or Wi-Fi. See www.nokia.co.uk
