HP has added an ultraportable anodised aluminium laptop to its range of business models. The HP ProBook 5320m is a dainty 1.7kg and only 23mm thick. Mimicking popular models such as the Apple MacBook Air, the HP ProBook 5320m has a 13.3in screen.

Given its business focus, there's an impressive complement of HP Protect security features included. A BIOS password can be set with just three clicks, there's a built-in credential manager to check who is trying to make use of the autocomplete logins for protected websites and programs, plus a fingerprint sensor and facial recognition for authentication when logging in to the laptop itself.

The HP ProBook 5320m runs on Windows 7 and is powered by an Intel processor with TurboBoost that adjusts the amount of energy used according to the tasks at hand, thereby prolonging the off-mains usability of the laptop.

Connectivity features include USB and Wi-Fi, wireless LAN and Bluetooth, but also VGA and DisplayPort. HP Broadband also comes as part of the package. The £599 HP ProBook 5320m laptop is set to go onsale across EMEA in late July or early August.
