HP continues to innovate around traditional PC and laptop formats, and is preparing to show off a new model with a rotating 12.1in screen at CES from Monday. The Pavilion tx2000’s screen can be rotated 180 degrees, and it also ships with a stylus to capture handwriting.

The Pavilion tx2000, which weighs 1.95kg, includes an AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processor, a DVD+/- RW drive, up to 250GB of storage, integrated wireless and wired networking, a fingerprint reader and a webcam.

It’ll cost $1,300 (£650) when it goes on sale in the US later this month. There’s no word on a UK launch as yet.
