Toshiba Chromebook 2 UK release date
Toshiba has confirmed that the Chromebook 2 will be available in the UK within the first quarter of 2015. According to a commenter on Reddit, they were told by Toshiba UK that it would be available around the 11th of February.
The original Toshiba Chromebook, the CB30-102 cost £250 at launch, and is now available for a little over £200.

In the US Toshiba's Chromebook 2 costs $249.99 for the HD model and $329.99 for the full-HD version. Toshiba has not yet announced UK pricing for the Chromebook 2, but don't expect a straight conversion from dollars to pounds.
How to buy the Toshiba Chromebook 2 in the UK today
If you can't wait for the official UK release date, the Toshiba Chromebook 2 is available to buy on eBay and will be shipped from the US. At the time of writing prices fell between £179 and £212, but bear in mind you will also have to cover the shipping costs. Toshiba Chromebook 2 specs
The 13.3in-screen Toshiba Chromebook 2 is available in two versions, one with a standard HD (1366x768) IPS screen and 4GB of RAM, and the other with full-HD (1920x1080) IPS screen and 2GB of RAM. Both share the following spec:

• Intel integrated graphics
• 16 GB eMMC plus 100GB free cloud storage via Google Drive
• 1x HDMI-out, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0 (including Sleep-and-Charge), SD/SDHC slot, headphone/mic combo jack, security lock
• 802.11a/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, HD webcam with dual mics
• Chrome OS
• Stereo speakers tuned by Skullcandy
• Up to 11.5 hours (HD model) or 9 hours (full-HD model) battery life
• Blast silver with dot pattern colour
