Toshiba USB LCD Mobile Monitor launched

14in display is just 1in thick

Toshiba has unveiled a slim LCD Mobile monitor that gives laptop and desktop PC users the ability to add a secondary monitor to their set-up via USB.

The 14in monitor, which weighs just 795g, offers a 1366x768 pixel display and is just 1in thick. It can be connected to any USB 2.0 port on a laptop or desktop PC without the need for any additional power cables. Furthermore, support for DisplayLink means video can also be played back on the display using the USB connection.

The Toshiba USB LCD Mobile Monitor also comes bundled with a carry case that protects the monitor when on-the-go as well as doubling as a stand for the display. Meanwhile a brightness control button allows the user to customise the display to suit them and a power-saving mode allows users tom reduce the monitor's power consumption.

Available now the Toshiba USB LCD Mobile Monitor is priced at £150.
