Acer Aspire One Happy 10.1in netbook

Acer has unveiled the Aspire One Happy, a dual-boot version of its popular netbook.

The 10.1in netbook, which runs both version 2.1 of the Google Android operating system and Windows 7 starter version, has a 1024x600-pixel display and is powered by either an Intel Atom N550 or N540 processor.

Measuring 2589x185x24mm and weighing 1.2kg, the Acer Aspire One Happy is available in a range of pastel colours including pink, lilac and green.

There are two memory options for the Acer One Happy. The standard model has 1GB of DDR RAM but there's also a 2GB version available. The netbook has a 250GB hard drive and an Intel 3150 GMA graphics chip, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and an Acer Crystal Eye webcam and microphone. A three-in-one card reader and a multi-gesture touchpad plus a near full-size keyboard complete the specifications.

Available now, the Acer Aspire One Happy is priced at £249.99 for the 1GB model.
