Medion Akoya E6212 16in laptop

Medion has unveiled a 16in laptop that will be available exclusively from the Aldi supermarket chain. The Medion Akoya E6212 laptop is powered by an Intel Pentium T4500 processor and features a 1366x768-pixel widescreen display with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium, the laptop comes with 4GB of RAM, an Intel 4500 MHD graphics processor, a 320GB hard drive and a writable DVD drive. Wi-Fi functions are also provided. The Medion Akoya E6212 has an HDMI port so it can be hooked up to a high-definition screen or camcorder.

The multi-touch navigation touchpad recognises gestures such as scrolling, zooming or rotating. The laptop also has a 1.3Mp webcam, three USB 2.0 ports and a media card reader.

The Medion Akoya E6212 is priced at £429.99 and will be available at Aldi stores from 25 April.
