Asus G73jh 17in gaming laptop

Asus has unveiled the G73jh - a 17.3in gaming laptop with a stealth fighter-inspired design.

Featuring an Intel Core i7 processor and 8GB of DDR3 memory (expandable to up to 16GB), the Asus G73jh has been built with a gamer's comfort and play in mind.

The heat and noise generating components of the laptop are at the back of the laptop to ensure heat and noise is kept as far away as possible from the user, while the keyboard set on a five-degree incline.

Asus says the slight angle is more comfortable to use when typing and gaming than if it was flat to the desk.

The laptop, which has been inspired by the F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter jet, also comes with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 graphics processor with 1GB GDDR5 VRAM, which is capable of supporting DirectX 11 graphics.

The laptop, which weighs 3.85kg, runs 64bit Windows Home Premium Edition. It comes with two 500GB hard disk drives, a Blu-ray drive and a 2Mp webcam. The chassis measures 320x415x57mm.

Priced at £1,899, the Asus G73jh gaming laptop will be available this month.
