Packard Bell has unveiled a multi-touch edition of its EasyNote Butterfly tablet PC.
The EasyNote Butterfly Touch features an 11.6inmulti-touch display with a resolution of 1366x768-pixels and a full-size keyboard.
Users swivel the screen to transform the laptop into a tablet PC. A rotation sensor recognises when the orientation has changed and adjusts the display accordingly.
Weighing less than 1.6kg and measuring 285x208x28.5mm, the EasyNote Butterfly Touch PC is powered by an Intel Celeron SU2300 1.2GHz processor and features a 320GB hard drive, a five-in-one card reader, 4GB of RAM and an HDMI port, so users can view content stored on the tablet PC on a HD screen.
According to Packard Bell, the six-cell battery offers extra-long battery life and the laptop also comes with Windows 7 and a full version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.
Users will also benefit from Wi-Fi connectivity, a webcam and optional 3G and Bluetooth connectivity.
Available in red or black, the Packard Bell EasyNote Butterfly Touch is priced from £499 and available in February 2010.
