MSI GT640 and GT740 gaming laptops

MSI has unveiled two new gaming laptops; the GT740 and the GT460, both of which are powered by Intel i7 quad-core processors and come with the nVidia GeForce GTS 250M 3D discrete graphics chip, 4GB of RAM and run Microsoft Windows 7.

The 15.4in widescreen GT640 imeasures 360x260x36mm, while the GT740 has a 17in widescreen display and measures 395x278x40mm. Both laptops also feature a black and red alloy casing finished with a brushed metal, a 640GB hard disk drives, a Blu-ray player, 2Mp webcam, four-in-one card reader and wireless connectivity.

The GT740 also benefits from four speakers and one subwoofer.

Priced at £1,349 for the GT640 and £1,399 for the GT740, the gaming laptops will be available from MSI next month.
