Alienware M17x 17in Nebular Red gaming laptop

Dell has launched a 'Nebula Red' version of its high-spec Alienware M17x gaming laptop.

The 17in  Alienware M17x gaming laptop is powered by an Intel Core 2 Extreme quad-core processor and is described by Dell as "the most powerful 17in gaming laptop in the universe".

Users can customise the laptop, which features wireless connectivity, a specially designed illuminated Alienware keyboard, up to two 1GB nVidia GTX 280M graphics processing units and 8GB of RAM, with a 1TB hard disk drive or a 512GB solid state drive (SSD).

Customers will also benefit from an anodised aluminium casing with aggressive lines, which Dell says creates a "striking" design.

"The Alienware M17x is a gamer's dream and sets the universal standard for 17in laptops that enthusiasts worldwide will love," said Michael Tatelman, vice president of sales and marketing for Dell's consumer business.

Priced at £1,699 inc VAT & delivery, the Alienware M17x in Neubular Red is available from Dell now.
