Acer Aspire 2920

The Aspire 2920 is the first ultraportable notebook in Acer's new Gemstone design. Combining a lightweight body with power and simplistic, clean design the notebook is ideal for more mobile users. The compact Gemstone laptop features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, wireless connectivity to a/b/g and Draft-N networks, integrated Acer Videoconference and a built-in webcam that can track users as they jig about nervously in front of the camera.

The Aspire 2920 weighs 2kg and offers a 12.1in widescreen LCD panel with a resolution of 1,280x800 and GM965 Express Chipset with integrated 3D graphics. The notebook also boasts an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with up to 356MB of Intel Dynamic Video Memory and support for DirectX 9 and DirectX 10.

Like Acer Ferrari 1100 ultraportable, the Aspire 2920 features Dolby Home Theatre Virtual Surround Sound speakers for greater enjoyment of music, movies and games. It also comes with Acer Arcade entertainment suite preinstalled which integrates Acer CinemaVision and Acer ClearVision for greater image quality.

The Aspire 2920 will be available in late Q4.
