The LG G Watch went on sale in June following Google I/O, but with Apple expected to unveil its iWatch alongside the iPhone 6 within weeks, and Motorola lining up its Moto 360 for IFA 2014, LG is already working on its successor. Also see: What to expect at IFA 2014.

LG G Watch 2: Release date UK
An LG spokesperson told The Korean Times: "LG Electronics was working on a September release for the new smartwatch alongside Google's wearable platform. The IFA fair may be the venue to see the upgraded smartwatch."
However, the spokesperson was unable to confirm whether the G Watch 2 would be on public show at the LG booth or simply to clients.
The IFA consumer electronics tradeshow runs in Berlin from 5- to 10 September this year.
In light of news of the LG G Watch R, expected to launch at IFA 2014, it's doubtful we will see a G Watch 2 at IFA 2014.
LG G Watch 2: Price UK
We can only speculate on a price for the LG G Watch 2 for the time being. The current LG G Watch costs £159 direct from Google Play, slightly undercutting the £169 Samsung Gear Live. LG has form for undercutting its rivals, so we can't see it increasing the price with a second-generation G Watch.
LG G Watch 2: Specs
According to The Korean Times, LG Electronics will team up with LG Display, LG Innotek and LG Chem to produce the G Watch 2. It will feature an OLED display and run Android Wear on a Qualcomm processor - its own Odin chips aren't ready for prime time just yet.
We'll bring you more details as we hear them.
