Codemasters and F1 have announced F1 gaming titles for the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation Portable. Set to launch this autumn, the first title in a planned series will be F1 2009.
Codemasters describe them as "a new generation of Formula One video games featuring all the drivers, teams and circuits from the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship".
That means we'll be able to see Jensen Button charge to victory, Lewis Hamilton have to settle for the occasional non-podium finish and get to charge around recreations of the actual tracks from the F1 grand prix season.
We're especially looking forward to pitting our wits against our mates in the Singapore night race. We only hope the sound track to the games hasn't been chosen by Sebastian Vettel.
