Kalypso Racing Team Manager

Here's one for the budding Ron Dennis - a management game centred around the thrills and spills of Formula 1.

Launching just in time for this year's British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Racing Team Manager was developed in tandem with experts who used to compete in F1. The £19 game goes onsale in early July.

For those that prefer to take charge rather than squeeze into the hotseat, Kalypso has come up with Racing Team Manager. The PC game allows players to establish and manage their own racing teams and pit them against other players online.

As the boss of a racing team you have to negotiate with drivers, suppliers and sponsors. You must also construct your own cars from 16 different components - no cheating and copying your rivals' designs allowed. The tension builds as you instruct your drivers during the race.

Racing Team Manager comes with 17 racetracks, 170 drivers and 370 team members. A multiplayer mode allows managers to go head-to-head using a LAN or the internet.

Racing Team Manger is priced at £19.99 and will be available in the UK from July from Amazon.co.uk and a range of high street retailers.
