iPhone Keyring USB Charger - just add juice

Cable coil could save power-out blushes

Remembering to pack a charger can be as difficult as remembering to charge your gadgets before departing for a trip somewhere. A new micro charger aimed at forgetful types aims to address this particular issue: the USB charger dangles from a keyring. (Of course, if you also tend to forget your keys occasionally, it might not be the best backup plan.)

The iPhone Keyring USB Charger is so named because Apple’s smartphone is indispensable, but tends to run out of power frequently. Essentially, it’s a 12cm-long cable with a USB connector at one end. The cable coils up into its plastic housing when not in use. When required, it connects an iPhone to a USB plug, cigarette lighter or laptop, where it can be re-energised.

The handy charger cable costs £4.95 from Red5.co.uk
