Freeloader Pico solar-powered gadget charger

Freeloader's latest solar-powered charger, the Pico, is a super-slim 12mm thick and weighs just 49 grammes. The Freeloader Pico is also very fast at charging gadgets: half an hour of charge is enough to fully power up many items.

Items ranging from MP3 players to mobile phones can be charged using the Freeloader Pico. It comes with a USB port and cable, plus connection tips to charge Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson phones. Other devices can be charged using a mini USB connector.

An Apple iPhone can be charged via its USB sync cable. This plugs directly into the Pico's USB port.

Users can also personalise the device by purchasing optional gel cases in colours available in seven colours including red, green, blue, orange, and pink. The cases will also protect the Pico from knocks and scratches. The gel cases cost £3.99 each.

The Freeloader Pico solar-powered charger is available through Freeloader's website, priced at £16.99.
