Powerstrap wearable gadget charger

If you're constantly finding your mobile phone, MP3 players or games consoles run out of battery while you're on the go, the Powerstrap offers an unusual solution. It's a rechargable battery pack that straps to your wrist so it's always availalbe,

The Powerstrap contains six lithium-ion battery cells surrounded by a water resistant silica gel. The wriststrap comes with a selection of 10 adaptors that allow it to be used with devices ranging from digital cameras to MP3 players such as an Apple iPods and portable gaming consoles such as the Nintendo DS.

Users simply connect their device to the strap via an adaptor, to make use of the 1500mAH of power it provides.

Four LEDs alert the user to the battery level of the strap, while a mini USB port allows the Powerstrap to be recharged.

Orca Global Trading says the Powerstrap takes five hours to fully charge and will give up to three hours of talk time, or eight hours of audio playback.

Available in a number of colour including red, yellow, green and blue, the Powerstrap is priced at £39.99 and will be available this month from www.powerstrap.co.uk.
