Sony DPF-D80 and DPF-D100 digital photo frames

Sony has launched two new digital photo frames. The Sony DPF-D80 and DPF-D100 are 8in and 10.4in displays.

The digital photo frames come in a choice of either glossy back or chocolate brown. Photos displayed on them are automatically rotated to landscape or portrait by the Sony smart orientation sensor.

The frames each have 256MB of internal memory - enough to store up to 500 images. Large files are also automatically resized so they don't take up large chunk of the memory. Photos can also be read off a memory card: Sony Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Secure Digital, Compact Flash and xD Picture Cards can all be read.

There are 10 slideshow modes that allow users to display the pictures in the ways they want and with the different transitions they want. The photo frames also comes with a built-in clock and calendar.

The frames, which also come bundled with a remote, are available from Sony's website.
