Uren Mobile Auto PC

High-tech travel guaranteed

Seoul's SEK exhibition this week has the usual mix of gadgets and toys to keep attendees amused as they walk the aisles. We took a look at some of those devices. See links below for all.

It's difficult to imagine what more could have been installed into the Mobile Auto PC from Innowell, which uses the Uren brand name. Designed for use in cars, the computer runs full Windows XP Home Edition and is more like a portable tablet PC than anything else. It has a 7-inch screen and 30GB hard-disk drive.

Two versions are available, one based on a Via 1GHz processor and the other on an AMD LX800 500MHz processor. There are some features you might not need in a car, like a wired Ethernet socket, and some that will come in useful, like an FM transmitter to send stored music through the car radio or touchscreen.

Other SEK new products:

iRiver B20 MP3 player

ILuv i199

Samsung video phone

MVix Media Player

KWorks KW-H100 child tracker
