Belkin ScreenCast AV wireless screen connection device

Connect your games console or Blu-ray player to a HDTV without the need for messy cables

Belkin has unveiled the ScreenCast AV, a device that allows users to wirelessly connect their HDTV to a Blu-ray player, games console or any other device with a HDMI port, ensuring cables and clutter don't spoil the look of your living room.

Users simply connect the Screencast AV's transmitter into the HDMI port of your Blu-ray player, games console or other device, then plug the receiver into your TV. The Screencast AV can connect devices from a distance of up to 30m if they're in the same room, or 10m in they're located in a different room or hidden in a cabinet.

Furthermore, an infra-red emitter connects to the ScreenCast AV transmitter allowing the remote control for your Blu-ray player, games console or other device, to be used, even when the devices are located in another room.

The ScreenCast AV comes with either one or four ports, meaning it can be connected up to four devices and will be available from October. The ScreenCast AV with one port is priced at £229.99 while the four port version costs £269.99
