Logitech G13 advanced gameboard

Expansys has started selling the Logitech G13 advanced gameboard.

This odd-looking gadget may look more like a stenographer's keypad than a state-of-the-art gaming device, but Logitech assures us that the concave home-row keys and the layout ensure maximum comfort so you don't end up flagging when the gameplay gets frantic.

The G13 is fully customisable, with three separate games modes and 25 programmable keys. The 160x43-pixel GamePanel LCD shows live game stats, system information and messages from other players.

The gameboard works on both Macs and PCs and has backlit keys so that you can turn down the lights and enjoy the atmosphere but still hit the right keys.

These are preconfigured for popular titles including World of Warcraft and Call of Duty.

Available in the UK now for £59.99 inc VAT from Expansys, full details can be found on Logitech's website.
