TrekStor has unveiled the MovieStation pocket c.uc - an external hard drive designed to store multimedia content.

The hard drive can be connected to a TV or hi-fi system and enables users to view photos or videos and to listen to music stored on the device, without the need for a PC.

Available in 250 or 500GB capacities, the MovieStation pocket c.uc, supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2, Mpeg4, MP3, WMA, WAV and JPEG files. It has a USB 2.0 connection for fast transfer of multimedia files from a PC to the hard drive. A memory card slot supports flash memory cards of up to 2GB. A remote control and a copy of Nero BackItUp 2 are also supplied as part of the TrekStor kit. 

Available now, the 250GB MovieStation pocket c.uc is priced at £99.99 while the 500GB version costs £139.99.
