    Samsung is claiming a 10-hour battery life for its new N120 netbook. What's more, the N120 is actually a proper-sized laptop with a 10in screen. Powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and with the usual 160GB hard disk, onboard Intel GMA 950 graphics and 1GB of RAM.

    Asus will start selling its Eee PC Touch T91 in the UK around two months from now. Asus also says that the 8.9in touchscreen netbook will cost "under £500 including VAT" - somewhat more than the rumoured £330 price tag other tech sites have mentioned.

    Asus has announced two new laptop ranges. Both the U and UX models are described as "light and light" and are designed for "both contemporary style and effortless computing". The keyboards sound distinctly 80s, however.

    Dell's multitouch tablet PC, the Latitude XT2, went onsale in the UK today, for a starting price of £1,299. The 1.64kg convertible tablet comes in several version of Windows Vista, but can also be bought with 'downgrade' rights for Windows XP.
