Dell Streak Android tablet

The iPad may be garnering an awful lot of headlines, but the Android-based Dell Streak is giving it a fair run for its money.

A 3G and Wi-Fi Android tablet that can be bought on contract via O2, the Streak has a 5in Gorilla Glass-clad screen with a 800x480-pixel resolution. At 10mm thick, it's slimmer than the average mobile phone and has a 5Mp camera on the back plus a VGA webcam-like one on the front.

Your £25-a-month contract secures 3GB of mobile data and 500MB of Wi-Fi- plenty for the average users' web surfing and tweeting needs. The Dell Streak costs £399 SIM-free or from £25 per month on an O2 two-year contract.
