Samsung U200 all-in-one PC

Samsung has unveiled two all-in-one (AIO) touchscreen PCs. The Samsung U200 and U250 are both Windows Home Premium models.

The 23in U250 has a 1080x1920-pixel touchscreen and is powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 while the 20in U200 sports a 1600x900 touchscreen and an Intel Core 2 Duo T4400 processor.

Like other all-in-one PCs, the machine's hardware is contained within the screen, ensuring there's no ugly desktop machine on display. Instead users can see only the screen, mouse and keyboard.

Both AIO PCs come with 4GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive and a DVD writer and run Windows 7 Home Premium.

The ultra-slim Samsung U200 sports an unusual 'standless' design. In fact, it has a pull out stand at the back a bit like a photo fram stand. The intention is that it can be hung on a wall or simply stood on a surface. It also has six USB ports, one of which will charges devices even when the PC is turned off.

The Samsung U250 all-in-one PC, meanwhile, is a more conventional monitor design and, unlike the U200 model, comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse.

The Samsung U200 and U250 will be available from PC World in May. Prices have yet to be announced.
