MSI AE2220 Hi-Fi all-in-one PC

MSI has launched a 21.5in screen home PC called the AE2220 Hi-Fi. As with other all-in-one PCs, the AE2220 Hi-Fi conceals the computer processor, hard disk and other operating components within the flat-screen display's casing. For this model, however, MSI has paid particular attention to the audio setup, rather than just the aesthetics.

The MSI AE2220 Hi-Fi has a pair of 5 Watt speakers suspended within a magnesium-alloy membrane. The result, says MSI, is a system that "delivers strong and true bass, penetrating mid-range vocal sounds and clear high frequencies".

The 21.5in display has a resolution of 1920x1080-pixels and is multitouch-enabled. The home entertainment PC runs Windows 7 Home Premium. It comes with a TV tuner and a Blu-ray drive, has an HDMI input and is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz processor. The PC is fitted with an nVidia GeForce 9300 graphics processor, a 640GB hard drive, six USB ports, a six-in-one card reader and a 1.3mp webcam as well as Wi-Fi.

The MSI the AE2220 Hi-Fi all-in-one home entertainment PC is available immediately and costs £799.
